- 1 1/2 pounds apples (5 large apples) - cored, peeled, and cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup water
- Juice of 1/2 lemon (2 tablespoons)
- Pinch of salt
- 2t cinn
- Combine apples, water, lemon juice, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Cook, stirring until apples are soft and water is evaporated, approx 30 or so minutes.
- Let cool slightly and blend in food processor until mostly smooth and only slightly chunky.
