*Applesauce


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds apples (5 large apples) - cored, peeled, and cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup water
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (2 tablespoons)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2t cinn

Directions

  1. Combine apples, water, lemon juice, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Cook, stirring until apples are soft and water is evaporated, approx 30 or so minutes.
  3. Let cool slightly and blend in food processor until mostly smooth and only slightly chunky.
