30 Minute Korean Beef + Toasted Sesame Rice
Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch, divided + 2 tablespoons water
- 4 tablespoons peanut oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or grated
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons hot chili sesame oil
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 orange pepper, sliced
- 1 zucchini, chopped
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup uncooked jasmine rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
- 4 scallions or green onions, sliced
