Jane Brody's Hummus
Ingredients
- *Onion (fresh), 1 cup chopped
- Garlic, 3 tsp
- *Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
- Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 2 cup or 1 15.5 oz. can
- Lemon, fresh squeezed, juice of one whole lemon, 1 serving (approx 1/2 cup
- *Low sodium Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp
- *Tahini (sesame seed paste), 3 tbsp
- *Sesame Seeds, 0.5 cup
- add a bit of ice water and cayenne and salt
